ABOUT SOCIAL INTERNSHIP 

In a world where everyone is becoming more self centered, Ladli foundation, a national award winning NGO, in collaboration with Directorate of Education,Delhi has started a Research based Social Internship program for students of class 11th to address and create awareness about social issues.

In the internship, We are given various tasks through which we learn a lot about important social issues, and during the process of completing the tasks, we also learn many useful skills. 

BENEFITS OF PROGRAM 

Let's look briefly at some of the many benefits the program offers to interns : 

□ Development of the value of empathy 

Learning about various social issues has made us more empathetic towards our fellow human beings. 

□ We are being equipped with knowledge regarding the use of various technologies 

Tasks of month - 1 included creation of mail account and opening LinkedIn or Twitter accounts that made us familiar with the use of these important applications.

□ Personality development 

We were asked to conduct a workshop in our schools, through which we learned a lot about today's hidden epidemic - Malnutrition. 

EXPERIENCE OF WORKSHOP CONDUCTION 

The workshop on malnutrition improved my confidence and made me a better public speaker. Through this, I also understood the areas in which I need to improve. 

Overall, this experience was very new and enriching.

CONCLUSION 

In a nutshell, one can say that Ladli Foundation's Active Research based Social Internship is making students more empathetic as well as empowering them will skills like conducting research, organizing workshops and using digital media that will open doors of many opportunities for them.
